The Steps of Faith Dance Company, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to spread the news of the Gospel in our community and around the world through dance and ministry work. Performances at area festivals and local and regional churches are booked throughout the year. If you or your organization is interested in a booking, or you are interested in auditioning for a place in the company, please contact us for a professionally produced DVD to learn more about our organization. All donations to the Dance Company are tax-deductible.

AUDITIONS FOR COMPANY:

Auditions for the upcoming season are held each summer at the studio. All dancers must be proficient in ballet, be at least 8 years old, and have a ministry minded attitude. Company members are required to take a minimum number of classes during the year as well as over the summer.
Company members produce the annual Nativity Ballet, the Easter/Passion ballet (older members), and a spring concert as well as appearances in the community in area festivals and churches. The highest company level is involved in optional biannual mission trips. Please email or call for more information.

Student Performances & Concerts
Students of the studio and the company are able to showcase their talents and use their skills to praise our Lord throughout the year. An informal Christmas concert is presented each December at a local church (Dec. 8, 2007) for all the students of the studio. This fall, we be presenting our Nativity Ballet by our Dance Companies on December 15 and 16. The Nativity Ballet features select students of the studio as well as the Dance Company.

A full length Praise Concert will be held at the end of the school year. Our Spring concert is set for the end of May at the Grand Theatre in Cartersville. A recital fee will not be charged due to the generous support of local Christian businesses. (If you are interested in becoming an underwriter, please contact us!) Date for 2008: May 17. Tickets for admission are available for $7-8 at the studio or at the door.

Costume fees for our students for our Spring Praise Concert 2008 are due January 15th, 2008. A $10 charge will be added if payment is not received by February 1st. Costume fee are based upon the number and kind of classes the dancer is taking. Fees are $45 for Pre-ballet classes, $55 for Ballet/Tap and Ballet/Jazz classes, $90 for Ballet/Tap/Jazz, $55 for child sizes per hour or hour and half class, and $65 for adult sizes per hour or hour and half class. Arrangements may be made to pay the costume in nine installments.

The students may also be invited to perform at several local events during the year as part of Steps of Faith's Ministry.
